An early exploration of the project ‘Burning Down the House’, ‘My Name is Laura Kieler’ was a collaboration between final year LIPA acting students and Breach. It explored the story of Laura Kieler, the inspiration behind Henrik Ibsen’s Nora in a Doll’s House.
In 3 acts, the show layered Ibsen’s classic text against a re-telling of the story from Laura’s perspective – a darker story about an extreme abuse of trust.
